Default Thinking of selling up

I'm toying with selling up, as i'm falling out of love with the whole "playing cars" thing.

Thing is, i'm not really sure what value to put on my car as it stands. It's obviously worth a lot more in my eyes than it is to any potential buyer.

Given the current spec in my signature and with a mileage of 70k, what do people think would be a reasonable figure to ask?

Rob I think we need to send Fat Bloke and Chippo round to "play with you" till you come to your senses and change your mind.

For Christ's sake Rich, shut up! Could be a good part out coming up.

Be sorry to see you go, Rob.

All I can say is get a boat - they are an equally distracting money pit that you can tinker with in new and interesting ways I've just acquired a wakeboard boat with a Ford 351 Windsor V8 in it - needs loads of "little jobs" doing and has allowed me to just leave the S2000 alone and drive it for the fun of it.

also ... can I have your brakes... sorry too soon ?

I'd consider taking some of the shiny bits off it for the right money!

I've got a figure of 8.5k in my head. don't know if i'm in the right ball park? Also I REALLY REALLY fancy a Ducati and i don't have the garage space for 2 toys

If you want it to sell quickly, always better as stock unless it's really really nicely modded AND there's someone who wants that combination of mods.

Good mods will sell very well independantly as well a standard car.

In the end I couldn't be bothered to strip mine back to stock and i quite like the mods i have so i kept it.

Bigger garage - space for bike and car.

If really pushed, sell car mods and buy bike with the money - bike is more fun than modded or stock S2000 / EOA

Don't do it Rob!

I would say that 8.5K is a bargain for someone depending if you take some of the mods off. Wheels and brakes alone worth not far off £2k! I will take the J's ecu off your hands if you decide to split......

The biggest mistake would be to buy a Ducati, uncomfortable and unreliable.

They do look nice though
