Thanks for your imput, I have decided to dump the idea of a snorkel, due to posibble problems with fitment and I don't want to butcher my car.
Think I may invest in one of these - has there been fitting issues with this type of mod from anyone here?

I read that their may be issues with no cool air getting to the top of the engine but I could (Well a mate could) cut some of the passenger side of it away to leave air holes to alleviate the problem

I have the Garage Defend version which is identical, I believe. I have still suffered kangerooing but I'm very rarely in slow moving traffic. Having said that, I also still suffered kangerooing with my Aus intake (same style as Muz's intake).
