Like I said
You could dremel a slot in it
But judging by your first post I'm not sure the radiator would survive it!

If I was to do it the car would have to be in a different county to be completely safe. I really am crap at sawing and drilling.

OK, I'll bite Muz...

So is your post telling us that you offer a Muz snorkel that will fit nicely into an 04+?

Previous comments on this board suggest the Muz snorkel is "best avoided" (whilst praising your other stuff).

$395 Aus$ isn't cheap, but then it might be worth it.

I have just fitted a Muz snorkel - NOTE, one of the early ones! - in conjunction with a K&N Gen II.

Firstly, the bonnet lining had to be cut - not a big deal if you are happy doing it. I will post some pics.

Also - the air filter end of the snorkel needed a good 3 inches hacking off to fit next to the K&N.

I then held it in place with tie wraps - predominantly to the strut brace.

I am happy with it - bonnet fit is good - a fraction higher than it was before, but certainly nothing anyone would notice.

The snorkel shown above is designed specifically for +2004 models although it will fit earlier cars. To date I haven't had any reports of fitting problems. It is the very newest version. At present I have one only left in stock.

I'm sure I saw some other post where a guy said he had two snorkels (bought from ebay) in his loft because neither fitted.
That sounds like me, but they weren't from e-bay, they were direct from Muz.

I had one of the first three in the country (FieldL and MikeyK got the others IIRC); none of those three fitted correctly.

The replacements didn't fit either. Unlike others, I was not prepared to hack my bonnet to bits to make it fit.

I find Muz's comment of only 3 or 4 issues out of 200 very surprising. I don't know of a single one that has fitted without issue yet.

If that's the original picture, and I think it is, mine is the middle one, FieldL's is the bottom one and MikeyK's is the top one.
