Thinking of coming back to the fold....
Well sort of.
I am looking for a new car for my Wife, she used to love my S2000 and has a heart set, even though the budget is small. I sometimes drive her car to communte to work to keep the miles off my 350Z so I am quite happy with her choice.
She has manged to find a car, well within her price range but it seems the car is Burgundy, it also has Black and Red seats (red in the middle with black sides). The car is a UK car apparently. So I'm presuming the previous owner has had the seats recovered but did Honda ever make Burgundy S2000s or has the car been re-sprayed?
Any advice would be great as I am very

The only OEM colour which comes remotely close to "burgundy" would be Monza Red, which is a sort of dark purply-red pearlescent colour - think dark red nail varnish and you'll probably be close.
As for the seats, I think they must be an after-market job as the only colours which come with mixed red and black seats are 04 onwards Silverstone and Moon Rock (I think).

The car is 2000 W reg, so unless the previous owner has bought 04 seats, which I very much doubt, it looks like an aftermarket job. It does have the door inserts in the same red though I will have a look around for an interior shot of the Red/Black seats from an o4 model
The Burgundy looks like the colour of the old VW Corrado VR6's, really don't think it's Monza Red (looks too deep).
Think this could be a wide berth car, she'll be
