The recess in the bumper, below the Ford badge. That is where the hatch starts. All of them, as Gadd pointed out.

A friend of mine had a motegi prelude (must have been about 98/99 reg). He loved it but got stung for suspension or 4ws work or something, cost well over a grand. Then the exhaust went which he couldnt afford to repair immediately so had to endure a boomy exhaust for a while.

A pretty complex car I reckon so could be worth getting someone in the know to check it over. Nice car though.

Cougar would be cheaper to run overall I would have thought, somehow it's still tarnished with the Probe brush in mind!

my '94 4th gen 2.2 vtec prelude clocked 200K miles last week.

synchro on 2nd's gone, and the 4ws light
