I do love the hi-reving FTO, can't beat the sound at high revs. I have a GR Manual so I'm sure an S2K should feel a fair bit quicker?

I think that's the only thing lacking with being in Cornwall, not much chance of meeting up with others and saying .
I test drove the following before deciding the S2000 was what I wanted :-
Audi TT
MGF
Toyota Celica
Toyota MR2
Evo VII
S2000

I drove the 93 convertible in France this year and it was bloody shocking - seriously that is one crappy drive, heavy rolls all over the place and handles like a cow. Be glad you didn't buy one . Also the built in Sat Nav is unacceptably difficult to use and the radio is crud but what amazed me most was the parking sensors which didn't activate until I was about 1 inch from the car behind and when it did go off I could barely hear it.... grrr!
Had a look at the MR2 and in all honesty it's disappointing and tired.
Has EXACTLY the same thing with the 350z, the first dealer let me wait for 45 minutes and just wasn't interested and the second just plain ignored me.
MX-5 was nice, almost bought the 2.0l Sport but before I did I drove the Elise 111R and the S and that was the end of that for the MX-5 .

I test drove:
Mr2 (Worst thing I've ever driven)
M3 Convertible (Nice drive but looks poop not my style)
MG Convertible (Not comfy at all, not much power didnt enjoy it lots of rattles)
Z4 (Marmite car I like the style - par the exhaust note but handling sucked ass and broke my back over pot holes I prefer my 1 series to it)
Supra (Loved it but wasnt open top)
God I must have test driven atleat another 5 cars here and there till Lovegroova took me for a spin in his S. I was like no way this 2000CC is that good hehe made go buy one the same week

Went to Wellington Nissan just after the 350 came out and they didn't want to sell to me. far to exclusive obviously. Went back last year and they were still crap. Had a test drive and we were very lucky, noticed it was totally out of fuel about 5 miles from the dealership! Not so exclusive now, they had three they couldnt shift, no doubt due to sloppy salesmen. Never got a reply to phone enquiries or follow ups to our visits even after leaving them a lead. Hope they go down the pan....
As for the Saab, what do you expect from Vauxhall saloon running gear?

As much as I love the 350Z I think when push comes to shove I wouldn't touch a Nissan - I've removed them completely from our company car list as the X-Trails we've had on all of them have required in the past 1-2 years a new turbo and/or intercooler - one of them needed 3 in the first year - the after sales care is completely rubbish - spent more time in the garage waiting for parts than it did out on the road.
When it came to leasing some I actually insisted on a dealer out of the county in order to avoid our local one.
