Zero, I am sure that all alloys will corrode eventually. brake dust and salt are killers for alloys, but it is the quality of the alloy that counts. On our Audi S3 the car has done 30k and the alloys are less pitted than the S2000's, and my gf hardly ever cleans the car now
I was pretty shocked how quickly they pitted on the S. I am just waiting a few more months for it to get worse and then I will demand that they are replaced under warranty. Its just not good enough, and Honda can have no complaints from S2000 owners demanding new wheels due to pitting IMO.

it hasn't been used all that much in the wet I guess and perhaps I am a little obsessive when it come to cleaning but my M3 was only three years old and the BMW alloys had corrosion on all wheels.......My T plate Audi A4 also has corroded alloys
I just think that they will corrode...inevitable as far as I am concerned

I've seen plenty of old bangers with corroded alloys which I assume if dangerous would show up on an MOT?
I'm not defending Honda just that I suspect not everyone gives the alloys the love and attention they need

It's not unreasonable to expect the "hard" bits of your car to last for a decent period of time.
Your bodywork doesn't rust if you wash and wax it infrequently and neither should your wheels corrode.
Honda never warns that the wheels will deteriorate, whch indicates that they shouldn't.
As long as you don't abuse them on kerbs, then I think it is fair to expect them to be in good nick as least as long as the bodywork.

objection your Honour.......
I am saying that alloys....whoever they are supplied by will corrode eventually....maybe there's an argument that the Honda ones corrode prematurely....my argument is that in my experience if they are looked after meticulously they will last.......mine have done a track day and been used in wet conditions and are still ok
anyways I aint trying to cause WW3 here just saying something that hasn't gone down too well
