Just as an aside - for all you folk ordering Front Lower braces - do you intend fitting these yourselves or getting a dealer to fit?

Bearing in mind that you have to lift the front of the car up, crawl underneath it and start undoing bolts

I for one, don't have any axle stands, a pair of jacks, a hydraulic ramp or an inspection pit (or even a torque wrench).

Is there anyone out there who might be able to assist me in fitting this?

Is there a "mini-meet" cross-brace workshop opportunity here?

Anyone care to host? This would be a great learning experience (well, for me anyway) - (not to mention cheaper )

EDIT: My First Corner - yay

Today, I will be mostly wanting a set of prestige mats. I take it that you are just taking order numbers now CC and that details will be required later? I am hopeful that someone will bring these up to Arran for me???!!!

*** YES

I for one, don't have any axle stands, a pair of jacks, a hydraulic ramp or an inspection pit (or even a torque wrench).

*** Axles Stds - 10 quid, Trolley Jack, 20 quid, torque wrench 15 quid. All cheap stuff but adequate.

Is there anyone out there who might be able to assist me in fitting this?

*** Depends where you live

Is there a "mini-meet" cross-brace workshop opportunity here?

*** probably not.

Anyone care to host? This would be a great learning experience (well, for me anyway) - (not to mention cheaper )

*** no, will require an increase in insurance....all those S`s in one place. Next door would think FNF2 had started a live UK tour.

Col, I can probably arrange to collect them from Carper Mansions between now and August, or meet you somewhere between there and Jenny's house when I'm up there for the weekend, and then drop them off with the FashionIconDistanceStarer at the ArranMeet.

I can't possibly do it as well as Rich Ralston or Mr Biscuit could, but here goes anyway........

EH EH EH, CALM DOWN, LA!

I've already told you I'll let you blaze a trail in terms of testing out the Muz braces! I'll only rip you off and follow suit if they're any good!

(Besides, I'm saving my mod money for some big wheels! )
