Default Testarossa getting a slating on Scoobynet?????

interestingly enough the 'rossa was getting some bad press in EVO mag this month jeeez there must be something I'm doing wrong for every performance car I have owned gets a slating from EVO

anyway back to topic...............wonder how many of the Scoobynetters have 'actually' driven a Testarossa or been a passenger.....the view from the door mirror over the upsweep of the rear wing....and the sound of that glorious flat-twelve would certainly sway some minds I am sure

If you want real 'supercar heaven' aurally there's not much better than a 308 carb model.....the induction sound is unreal as the engine breathes.....it whistles almost and is a real joy!

For the 'classic' experience the 275GTB/4....oh what a motor....been a passenger in one of those round Silverstone...wow what an experience!

For the ultimate GT...forget the Daytona.....the 365GTC4......wonderful car...looks the business

365GTC to my mind is the pre-cursor to the 456GT

Zero, I suggest you slip on your espadrilles, roll up the sleeves on your pastel coloured linen suit and wade in mate

Testarossa isnt even fast, it's definately the average guys known Ferrari though, which is a shame as its the least Ferrari phylosophy wise of the lot. And the 328 series coming so high, horrible car.
mmmm.........it's not especially fast 0-60 by contemporary standards as the 1st to 2nd shift compromises this....but 30-70 in 4.1'ish seconds is quick even by todays standards

As it happens the 'Ferrari phylosophy' was front engined/rear wheel drive powered cars powered by a V12....so if anything its the mid-engined V8 cars that go totallyagainst the grain with the Testarossa a 'compromise'...in so far that the Flat-12 is not a 'true' Boxer engine but infact a 180 degree V12

I soooo wish people actually knew what they were talking about before slagging off my ing car

nb.....I slaughtered an Imprezza P1 on the Dorking by-pass and it was piss-easy to be honest
