I think it looks better with the lid on.
Less gay
I actually never took it off from the day I bought it, to the day I sold it, on this car. Winds a lot of people up
"why did you buy a convertable if you only have the roof on..." la la la la.

Well, had my test drive earlier today and was out for about an hour, gorgeous day to be driving with the top down even though it did get a bit toasty sitting in traffic with the sun beating down!!
So what did I think?
Considering I've been driving an old beat up 406 DT for the past few years driving the S was such a refreshing experience for me, the car felt an absolute joy to drive and be in and I could imagine just driving for the sake of driving. My route consisted of a good mix of roads from fast A roads to Dual Carriageways with the odd bit of slow traffic thrown in around town - this gave me a good idea of what the car would be like to live with on a daily basis.
Loved the power of the S and the racy nature although holiding onto a gear right to the redline is something I would need to get used to (I felt like I needed to change up at about 7k rpm!) but it felt like it could rev forever.
The gearbox took a little while to adjust to but in general I loved the nature of it, short and presice even though I had trouble hitting 3rd on a couple of occasions
Steering and handling although I was never pushing more than I felt comfortable with felt great, steering was very positive and feedback through the wheel and car just right. Great not having any body roll either!!!!
Car felt great on the dual carriageway, sitting at around 80 it didn't wander and felt civilised for a longer journey. Having the top down for a long trip may get a bit tiresome though although having windows up helped keep hair in place!
So do I want one? I have wanted one for ages now but never been in the position to buy one, now I've finished 3 years at uni as a mature student and got a decent job in a local business with the potential to go far with the business I think I'm in a position to buy one! I still cannot justify a brand new one for almost

Glad you enjoyed it, you have made some consistent observations too.
I'd buy one from a member on here and save yourself a couple of grand!

I did that on my first test drive, I kept shifting from 2nd into 5th. When I first shifted from 1st to 2nd I had to double check I was in second because the shift was so short it felt like I hadn't caught the gear.
Went and had a look at a Moonrock 05 today (just roadster) for
