Tesco insurance and track days

As I understood it, they are now excluded. However my Tesco policy isn't up until November so I'm going on hearsay.
There have been a few people who use Tesco who have posted to say that track days are now specifically excluded though.

Craig, I'm sure one of the crew who went on the last Academy Day said that they had been able to convince Tesco to confirm cover for it. I guess you have just have to explain to them at length the reasons why it's not a track day.

Cheers guysLooks like my policy does not then exclude track days - the renewal is after Knockhill anyway, so I will take a raincheck if I decide on any other track excursions.

Tesco covered me for the Academy Day with no problem, however, I had to make it clear that it was not a track day. My certificate of insce excludes track day cover.
