Temperature Gauge
Am sure this is fine, but just an ongoing concern - searched forum but didnt find anything.
I have had my MY05 for a few weeks now.
Noticed over the past few drives that the temp gauge has never reached the mid-point of the total dial - it always stays about 2 segments below. MY05, so have the full 180 degree temp dial vs the previous horizontal one.
Now I know there are heat build up issues with the S in summer & traffic, but surely this low outside of summer is not normal...is it??
Every other car I have owned has always been in the mid point
Many thanks in advance of your help folks!

Took 40 minutes to travel 3 miles the other evening, stop start traffic jam. Fans came on, but temperature guage never moved from 8 bars. Slight hint of kangarooing at one point, but otherwise fine.

Its the bloody fuel gauge you want to watch!
I was horrified how fast those last four bars vanish when on the Motorway
