Tegiwa Carbon Bonnet Fitment
Hi guys,
Do any members have the Tegiwa Carbon Bonnet on their s2000?
If so, any pictures of it fitted and what is the fitment like? I want to get a carbon bonnet / vented bonnet for cooling my supercharger setup and partially for looks.
My friend runs a bodyshop and he is very against the carbon bonnets saying the fitment is usually awful and that he would rather be cut vents into the standard bonnet (like the US guys do) since there is not really any weight saving to be had unless I spent eye watering amounts of money and the standard bonnet will fit properly.
So any Tegiwa bonnet users?
Thanks
Anees

If you're planning on painting the bonnet it's a lot easier as you can modify it a bit before painting.
Also then you could just buy a fibreglass one and save some money too.
I wouldn't expect a tegiwa one would just fit without any work...

The gapp around the sides is wider but I wouldnt say the fitment is shockingly bad. Its relativly good. 4 screws and its on! Took me and a freidn maybe 15mins to get it on straight
