Default TCT repair

Guys I have sand blasted my TCT worm gear and I've now begun reassembling the TCT and need to know what size or the specific name of the bolt that I need to rewind the piston. From the TCT repair threads I've read that it's a 5mm bolt but I'm not sure if that's what it is called.

am I supposed to be able to thread the bolt by hand or does it take a ratchet to thread it through?

Finally where can I get it from?

Thanks for your help in advance.

If you have blasted it sufficiently, you do not need the bolt. Push and twist with your right thumb, holding the TCT with your left hand.

You then need to make a pin out of a sewing needle, or paper clip to hold it in place.

Its a M5 with a 0.8mm pitch, 50 - 70mm long. You also need some sort of nut as well to stop it from winding back out on it's own.

Theres a really good diy on the US side where I got the info from but deffinatly worth a read.

• 5 mm bolt, 50-70 mm long, .80 pitch, with a nut and washer

Just to add, the details of the bolt needed can be found just above the 3rd picture down

Thanks for the responses guys, I realised when reading it again the actual measurements, but it was difficult to find a shop selling it, bought it in the end and had to go for a little drive to find it as well.
