Don't you worry about the bbq side of things Pete - I'm sure the Le Mans crew can turn up with disposable bbq's, a few gazebos, beer for the beer mountain, and we can round off by bonfiring a few of your local trees
The TVR looks fantastic Alex I wasn't sure about the wheels and colour combination at first, but it really does look the part
You've right about the interior - dark ones simply look better !
Have you rung out fourth gear yet

Alex!
I am finally back somewhere I can view pictures and what can I say................those boat popsies look fantastic!
The car looks brilliant, if a little scary - I especially like the low level rear spoiler thingy
How is the TVR on a daily basis - is it happy driving to work? What is the fuel consumption like when being moderately sensible (yes, I know, you dont buy a TVR if you are concerned about fuel consumption, and the words 'sensible' and 'TVR' dont belong in the same sentence!)
More sensible stuff I'm afraid.......when you said (in another thread) that running costs are fairly high - what sort of numbers are we talking about for servicing - intervals and rough costs please?! And who will you get to look after it for you - a TVR dealership of a friendly local expert?
Sorry for all the questions!
Someone congratulated you for having the balls to go for it.......I think you should also be congratulated for chosing such an understanding wife - Heidi is a top lady!
(Please to see you kept the plate)

As for your q's:
So far the daily driving seems fine, not to mention fun - but I do miss the ability to drop the roof whenever you get the slightest chance
Fuel consumption - only checked on 1 tank so far, was 20mpg, which includes some fairly spirited driving.
Servicing - 6000 mile intervals, 6k service is about

the other one looks like a dogs dinner and you should have taken her out with the Bren.
The racing got quite exciting at the weekend, as one of the boats burst into flames off Hove seafront both guys got out ok though. It was very choppy conditions for them, apparently the first time the F1 powerboats have raced in Britain?
