Not sure whether you mean just straight hire or whether you're after somewhere that runs driving days including Ferraris, Mike. If the latter, check out http://www.tangerineuk.com/ - I know they do a "Ferrari Experience" package. I'm pretty sure the last one I did with them didn't stipulate a minimum age - just the need for a full UK licence and certain height limitations.

(it doesn't feature a Ferrari, but I can vouch for the Supercars Day )

Thanks for the reply Mark (it has to be a Ferrari as my son is mad on them and I thought it would make a nice birthday present for his 21st!). From the few I've looked at it seems that age restrictions apply more for road driving and, anyway, I'm sure blasting one around a track will be much more fun! So, its a track drive I'm after. I'll check out your link anyway but the sort of thing I'm thinking of is maybe a few laps around Silversone in a 355 after a bit of instruction. I wonder if anybody on here has done that one?

The link does take you to a couple of track-driving Ferrari packages. Everyman, the guys who run it, hold them at Mallory Park and at a great little track at Prestwold Hall in Leicestershire.

(From memory, they had a Testarossa, a 360 Modena, an old 308 or 328 (can never remember which is which) and had just taken delivery of a new 550 Maranello)

That's the sort of thing - 328 & 360 (I would willingly pay extra for him if a drive in 550 was available too but I couldn't see that on there - in fact I wouldn't mind having a go in one of those myself ). The t's and c's say that age restrictions may apply but I couldn't find these, althought I have seen some other sites that stipulate 21 and two years driving experience (he will have three) so I guess we would be ok.

I can highly recommend the Ferrari that I drove at Rockingham for my 30th Birthday pressy.

It was a 355 Challenge, shipped straight over from Italy, with Race brakes, slicks, stripped out interior and a monster 450bhp !

Not for the faint hearted though - it really did go like stink, and the stopping power is immense

Thanks Guys, that Rockingham drive sounds the business and its not too far for me to travel. I wonder if they would really let a 21 year old loose in a 355 with 450bhp, slicks and race brakes? That would certainly "hit the spot" and be a birthday present to remember (next to the F40, let's face it I'm not going to find that on offer, the 355 is his second favourite ).

One other thing I've got to check is his height (he's at least 6 feet tall and I've just noticed the link rahula put up has a limit of 6'4" although they will allow 18 year olds to drive). I'll have to look into that too I guess.

Age and height are ok and this is the one I think I'm going to go for:
