Ultimately, it's the fact that I still really enjoy the S2K (and the forum!) that makes me think, why bother to change?
...but the itch is still there

Well, it seems daft to say "I drive the best car money can buy" of a poxy old Honda! Not even an NSX Honda!
It's just that I cannot, well, a lot of us cannot, actually become convinced that the extra wonga for something else is worth it.
One day, something better inevitably will materialise............

TVR's are fantastic, but you have to be a patient owner. The speed 6 engine in my opinion is a piece of junk. Have a look at the posts here:

and a survey of sp6 owners here:

Until TVR put a decent engine in the car, I wont look at one.

Hello all!
Well this thread is still running then I see! Have been over at the rs246.com forums as I have decided to go for a Audi RS4 in the end!
I picked up kitesurfing over the summer and need something to lug my gear and MTBs around in. Also, I wanted to see what would happen to TVR now that it has come under new ownership and will leave buying one for a couple of years. I know that T350C itch will have to be scratched someday!
You can read my threads over there discussing RS4 vs. M3 (E46) if you are interested. Just do a search under the same username.
I agree with eyebroker as I test drove a M3 and found it sterile and uninvolving. RS4 on the other hand was a completely different matter and reminded me of the first time that I test drove a S2000 (although didn't crash it this time!) as my girlfriend noted that I had a very big grin on my face Haven't felt that way about a car for a while now!!!
Anyway, will be putting my S2K on the market in the next few weeks. Anyone venture a price for a 2002 (02) S2000 in silver with 12K miles on the clock. I was hoping I'd get 19.5K private and 18K trade. Is that realistic?

Fancy something with 350+ bhp and reliability? Read a review a second time in an old copy of EVO....
