Suzuka Blue: Car Seat Care
Hi all,
after joining the forum a bit back, pre-ownership, I've been guided towards my purchase of a splendid Suzuka Blue '05 AP2. Love or hate the colour I'm in need of your help on firstly, the care of the leather seats and what to buy in the UK in terms of a perfect colour match for the blue seats as they are scuffed a little and I think I'm going to need some sort of leather paint. I'll add a photo of the marks
Last resort is a local mobile car interior dude I've been passed the number of from a friend but it sounds a bit expensive right off the bat. I also love this thing and want to look after this myself. Is there anywhere in the UK we can buy leather paint colour matched that anyone approves of. I've had a look on eBay and I think I'll end of getting something a bit s*** if I'm not careful.
Cheers

I'm also interested in this as i have the blue seats with black wear marks. I would retrim them but its very expensive so a solution to get me by for now until i have the cash would be to paint them.

Bear in mind there's not much leather involved in Honda (or any other manufacturers for that matter) leather seats!!

Suzuka Blue was the colour I wanted my S2000 also and luckily I managed to find one.
It too has the blue interior and coincidentally I had the same issue with wear on the drivers bolster where it showed signs of
cracking.
I bought a few pots of blue shades from the below seller to sort my problem.
I think i settled on BL04 being the closest shade but I'd have to check.

Its not a perfect fix by any means but it has camouflaged the issue quite well.

Surprised none of you UK guys jumped on the AP2 notation.
Any experience with these dyes? Inexpensive enough but I'd hate to have black on the butt of my khakis!

As the original "leather" has a clearcoat added the touch up kits also have a clearcoat included to put on over the dye .
