Default Sussex Speed Traps

Local paper says 10 new cameras this month in Sussex, and BBC news this morning talked about 19 in SE - they were showing a Truvelo.

There is a website which shows the fixed camera locations, as well as being updated weekly on where they will be operating mobile units.

Funny that, i was just about to post a thread on this very subject.

What are the criteria for a camera to be installed?? ie black spot or a know speeding area.
The reason for asking this is a camera has just been put up outside where i work

I have worked in the estate for 9 years and have never seen any accidents in that stretch and its usually too busy to speed during day light hours.
So other than to catch speeders at night, it can only be there to generate revenue

So to people who work or travel through Maylands ave in Hemel keep an eye out and back up RA as i have just programmed it in and will upload later tonight. (AE & LB)
