Yokohama AD08RS:s are track day tyres. I wouldn't suggest them if you are not tracking your car.
I think Michelin Pilot Sport 4:s are better choice. Or some else high performance tyres.

Have you ever tried AD08Rs? I find them to be a great road tyre. Worked very well when I had the supercharger too.

the OP lives in Scotland, a lot of cold weather, a fair bit of wet and cold. i dont think i would recommend Yokos and i do run them year round on an SC car. they are very not good in cold and wet ime..

Ive decided to get a bit more life out of my current RE050As before I swap to Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics. They generally get the best reviews for improving comfort and road noise.

My mileage drops a lot over the winter (mostly to protect the car from the salty roads) so winter tyres aren’t something I ever consider.

Yeh fair enough, if I had do deal with snow on a regular basis, then perhaps there are better options. I've not found them any worse than other tyres in the cold though. But I am a fair bit further south to be fair!

I’m a couple of hours south of pieman and still use Bridgestone oe spec, not sure if I’m right but think that they are recommended for 8*C+, they can very interesting first few miles at this time and maybe never up to operating temp. Going to try the pilot sport4 or even uniroyals next.

Uniroyal 3 is not as good as the 2s
very good price,have them on the civic,very soft walls,i run 2 psi higher,on wet roads astonishing grip and wear well.

Koni yellows, I put some on mine and even with poly bushes it rode better than stock. Combined with Goodyear Eagle F1 AS2 it was ideal as the tyres gave the right amount of compliance.
