Suspension refresh to improve ride
#11
Have you checked everything on your car is OK before dropping a load of money on expensive coilovers?
I also daily a Mk8 Civic and that is bone shaking on any uneven surfaces, the S2000 in comparison is very compliant.
Tyres have already been mentioned, how about bushes and alignment?

I had a similar experience with crashing suspension on my 05 S running Bridgestone Re 050 tyres. I assumed as they were the tyres Honda Specified for the car that was how it was.
When Bridgestone ceased production of Re 050 I decided to try the newly announced Michelin PilotSport 4. Night and day difference plus the grip in the wet is far superior. Still on the original suspension and 76k. I would add a geo would be a good idea too.

hmmm looking at reviews of the Bridgestone RE050A comments are that the very stiff sidewall does detract from the ride quality. Problem is there's probably about 5-10k left in my current tyres.
Priced up a new set of GoodYear Eagle F1 asymmetric at £400 fitted, tempting...

depending on age you could sell the used tyres i guess
or do a trackday
ohlins is a big investment, you ought to get a px ride in one with them fitted first imho

slightly off topic but I noticed when researching tyres that the AD08R has been replaced with the AD08RS. The difference seems to be a new eco-friendly compound.
I found some stock of the front tyres in the R but rear tyre size was only the RS version.
