Drove about 300 miles yesterday, got home and then went out later. This time when I reversed there was a strange squeak from my right rear suspension, and now when I drive over bumps the rear suspension squeaks and creaks - a bit like old bed springs! The strange bit was when I reversed with full lock I got a similar noise. If a push the right rear of the car down I can replicate the noise.
Is it a problem with the 'bushes' or something else ????
[EDIT] My rear suspension was completely replaced 2500 miles ago.
Cheers

I'm having the same exact problem. My car is a 2000 with 53,000 miles on it. Only the right rear does it and is the exact same scenario. Creaking going over bumps and when I drive up into my driveway. I. can replicate the sound when pushing down on the rear of the car.
I recplaced my rear differential about 4000 miles ago and had to undo the to control arms in order to get the drive shaft axles out of the differential.
Could you be a little more specific on exactly what you mean by "torque up the suspension"

Holy old-thread resurrection.
You have to torque up the bolts with the suspension at the correct ride height (supporting the wishbone with a jack does the trick). If you don't, the bushes are twisted and can cause noises. In my case, the rear of mine was about 1/2" higher than it should have been because I failed to do this.
