Default Suspension Help!

I am after some advice please, I recently purchase my S2000, after about 5/6 weeks, the rear left suspension started knocking, I took it back to the garage and they replaced all 4 suspensions. Again now about 7/8 weeks after this it has begun to knock again, the garage have said they will replace it, but does anyone have any ideas why it would go again? I have not gone over any hard potholes, or anything to cause it. Just seems very strange?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Might not even be anything to do with the 'shocks'

Could be a bush on the ARB etc, maybe take it to another garage.

I have just spoken to the garage, they replaced all 4 shocks and then set the tracking up. That is all they did. I asked them about the ARB, and they said it was all fine. Sorry excuse my ignorance! What information would you like and I will get it! Thanks for the replies so far!!

All they did?
This car has coilovers, do you have any idea how much that just cost?!!
I find that hard to believe, but lets go on...

When does it knock - all the time, only over bumps, only when turning etc?
Can you feel it through the pedals or steering?

Tracking? No need to adjust that just for swapping the coilovers really.
Tracking is very misleading, you do ALL four wheels on the car, and you adjust toe, camber, castor. Time consuming and expensive, so what have they really done?

Knocks could be a hundred things, but my money is on a busted suspension bush, partly seized balljoint on the rear toe arm, or a maybe nothing to do with the suspension at all!

NO idea on cost as they are paying for it under warranty, hence I would like your advice on what to ensure they have checked all possibilities!

It only knocks when going over bumps, regardless of how small.

Seems fine steering and I cannot feel it through the pedals. Just an audible bang from the left rear.

They are getting the coilover in on Friday, so hopefully should get it fitted over the weekend! I will keep you posted

Once again thank you!

I suspect that he doesn't mean coilovers... sounds like he's refering to replacing the damper, a faulty one may cause knocking but so could any number of other things...
