Default Suspension geometry checks

Before I "Blast through France" I want to have my suspension geometry checked and adjusted if required.

My tyres are about half worn so will this have any problems with the suspension adjustments or checks?

Dont really want to replace the tyres just yet as there is about 5mm of tread still left.

Can anybody recommend a good alignment place in West / North Yorkshire

Give Chris of Center Gravity a call, he will sort you out. 07875850471 (he's in derbyshire.)

Alignments are done against the wheel, so your tyres will be alright.

Can't see how the tyre wear would affect the ability to do a proper alignment check, although the wear (uneven) could indicate whether the alignment was out or not.

Can't help with the recommendations up North although Chris Franklin of S2000 alignment fame is from the Derby area and he runs a mobile service.

Thanks for the advice. I thought the checks were done on the wheel but just wanted to make sure!

Derbyshire is'nt far, worth travelling if someone is good at their job.

Chris will read the tyre wear and make recommendations as appropriate.

Did you get a full written report yet from the alignment meet Ian ?

I got the pdf charts with each wheel's settings on it, but I was under the impression that we were each to get an individual written report aswell.

LTB - I was talking to Chris on the phone a couple of days ago. He's trying to finish the final reports but hasn't completed them all yet. As soon as I receive them I will pass them on to you all
