Default Suspension experts!

I've had lower braces front & rear and Whiteline adjustable drop links fitted and I've got the fast road geo set-up. It's transformed my car - much better to drive, stays flatter in corners and capable of higher corner speeds, plus there's much more feedback.

However, I still hate the mushy feel that the MY05 spec suspension has, especially the way the back end wallows on bumpy B roads, so is my only option now to fit coil-overs, or are there any other suspension mods that will improve/cure the bouncy rear end?

Any help and advice gratefully accepted...........

I'm not an expert and can only speak from personal experience, but retro fitting a set of front and rear OEM 99-01 ARB's was a bloody master stroke

There happens to be a set for sale right now

Depends on your budget. If you've got the spare cash go for coilovers but a cheaper option would be just to get a set of 99-01 springs and shocks. This would stiffen up the back end as yours is one of the softest oem dampers. Also the front and rear arbs would help

Thanks folks.

With reference to the ARB's, the adjustable drop links seem to have made a difference as the car stays flatter in corners. I appreciate that changing the ARB's would be better but I'm satisfied with the amount of roll.

Would stiffer ARB's have any effect on the wallowy sensation? I figured that would be down to springs and shocks (but I'm definitely no expert)?

Cheers.........

Why the droplinks and not the ARBs? Or was it just an alternative to replacing knackered droplinks with expensive Honda ones?

Sounds like coilovers are what you want.

At least with Dls you can negate any odd twist the uneven rollbar might apply to the wishbones.
Worth playing with that as you can affect weight distro.
The ARB wont do anything until the load on one corner is higher than its opposite corner.
(Dave, hows the engine fix going?)

Coilovers are the way forward my friend. They should be the starting point IMO
