Default Suspension/Coilovers for 04+

Hey all, with all this talk of suspension lately I thought I'd ask my own question as I intend to do mine when the SC goes on

Tried a good search but nothing found, but I'm wondering what are my suspension/coilover options with having the AP2 setup?

I seem to remember MikeyK having problems some time ago on one of his many, many S2000's when it comes to finding suitable options for the AP2 setup.

I basically want to avoid splashing out lots on coilovers and finding them not suitable as they're designed for AP1's only, so if anyone can help I'd appreciate it

cheers

Si

You havn't got an AP2.

The AP2 is a 2.2L model released in the US.

They'll fit if they are designed for S2000

My Nitrons didn't fit Mikey K's car and Nitron had to change the spec for later cars, so I believe (more than just spring rates) - Mikey will be able to comment.

Exactly, just want to clear up any confusion before ordering...

I know Rick is running KW v3's with no problem too so that's something

I fitted Aragosta suspension to my 04 car. When set up properly with height dropped 15mm the handling was a noticeable improvement, particularly in the wet.

The Aragostas came straight off another members pre 02 car but fitted no problem.

Are you sure you will see any benefit from fitting coilovers Si?
Unless your stock suspension is shot, I can't see the point, personally I would put the cash aside for the rebuild
