Suspected TCT rattle.. DOH!
I´ve had my S for a few days now and I´m loving it to bits.
Went for a drive around a nice set of twisties tonight, and after about 40kms of driving it a bit harder (Not that hard actually, 110-140km/h at 5th and 6th) and stopping for a break the engine started making this awful sounding rattling at idle. At first I thought it just a heat-shield that has come loose but after opening the bonnet I could hear it was definately coming from the engine. It was not a constant noise, it would come on and off with short intervals, like 0.5sec noise, 1-2sec no noise, then again a short noise and so on. When I revved the engine above 2000rpms it disappeared all together.
I thought about getting it towed home, but after letting it sit for about 20 minutes the noise didn´t come back when I started the engine. Drove home keeping the revs at about 3000-3500 all the way, and had no problems. The engine runs smooth, sounds normal etc. I thought I´d shoot a video for you to have a listen at it, but once I got home the noise would´nt come back even though I let the car idle for a few minutes so no luck with that.
I had a look, or should I say listen at Youtube though, and the noise sounded exactly like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdECV...eature=related
Apart from the fact that it wasn´t near that constant.
So, I think I´m looking at getting a new TCT right?
The car has done around 76.000 miles, will I be OK with just getting a new TCT, or should I also change the chain and all the other bits in there while I´m at it?
Should I let the car sit and not drive it at all while waiting for the new bits, or is it OK to do my daily school & work run (about 50kms a day) if it doesn´t get worse than that?
And last of all, where should I order the parts? Local Honda-dealer prices are insane here in finland, so I´m going to order either from UK, Japan or the US.
I´d like to get it fixed ASAP, so I guess UK would be the best since it won´t take more than a few days to get them shipped here, compared to US or Japan. (Unless I order OVERNIGHT PARTS FROM ZAPAAN!! ;D)
Thanks a lot in advance, I guess it has already been discussed in a million topics before but I figured it wouldn´t hurt that much to start a new one..

Thanks a lot lovegroova.
I threw CFL-Honda an email about shipping, I´ll order the bits right away since the prices are better than I could imagine.. I was waiting to spend at least 500-600£ on parts alone.
Any thoughts on if it´s safe to use it before getting the issue fixed?
I thought maybe I´ll use it to go to work etc. tomorrow and see if the noise comes back in normal driving.
Might as well throw in some fresh oil if it would help for the time being. Everybody seems to be recommending 10w40 full synth if I remember correctly from all the oil-debates in here. I can´t seem to find any at local shops though, only 10w40 I could find was Valvoline Maxlife Diesel, and that is only part synth.
