suprizing porche race
driving out of cearphilly saw a porche coming up behind me,which i thought was a poxster.eventually come to where the road widens and becomes two lanes.so i hold it in secong at about 6k wait till its safe to pull out and floor it.i pulled away and he couldnt make any ground on me.approached a roundabout went around in second not exceedingly fast and plant it again same result felt quite chuffed.approached a big roundabout so i slow right vdown cos its a busy one.he goes shooting past me a flashes\ around the roundabout very silly thing to do .
thats when i notice\ it was 911 carera.he was racing off but i just drove at the sl and caught him up in a traffic jam a few mins later.with a big grin on my face.
p.s. it was a carera 4 [dont they chuck a lot of stuff from the exaust pipes]
p.p.s. it was didnt get much over 60 in this race so it was a little bit legal

If it was a 4S, there not very fast at all.... 320Bhp i think... and that has to lug around a kerb weight of 3250 lbs (as apposed to the S's 2835 lbs) + the fact it has higher transmission losses through the 4x4 system.. S2k should kick it's arse all day long

I lost in a traffic light gp against a gt3 today though
He was catching in the twisties but no way he could get passed, and there were quite a few overtaking places.

Even a quick car like the GT3 would struggle to overtake a flat out S2000 safely on a public road. The fact he didn't try is more a reflection of a good driver than a bad car.
