Lou, I'll print up some times later ok When I get home, sadly I dont carry all my car videos etc on my work pc!

Racing Mike was great,he gets better launches than I do, I cant drive for shite btw, and as a result we had great races at Santa Pod. The best I've ever got has been a 14.1. In the US they've had low 13's for stock Supras, so you could point at the track for being a big factor in the times as I mainly wheel speed through the first 2 gears even with 285s on the rear.

Autos are better for the 1/4 mile and I know a guy who got a 13.8 in a stock Supra like mine, he obviously drives it better on the 1/4 mile than I do

Im not trying to outdo you people by coming along here with times or stats, I just want to dispell the bullshit about the car and how it handles/drives. It was rated as the best braking car ever tested by a US car mag until the Carrera GT came along, it held the record for 12 years. Not bad huh.

BTW Amuse Boy.... I think there is an Evo which hold the lap record for that track, but we're talking super modified and lapping in around/under 55 secs.

Thats interesting.

A Stock S2000 and Stock turbo Supra then are almost on a par with the supra edging it.

Stock S2000 should do roundabout 14.1 1/4's

Don't worry about digging up numbers!!! I have seen how both cars compare on the bends.

Good talking to you.

Against me yes, but a stock Supra 'should' be in the mid 13's.

Plus my terminals will be ~105 and yours 95mph.

I dont really care about 1/4 mile myself these days - not after I've been to the 'Ring a few times. I love that place

Perhaps you could also dispel some of the on your own forum, which is what started this whole sorry pissing contest in the first place

WGAF about 1/4 mile or lap times, lets just enjoy our cars.

Yeah I know.. I did try to make some positive comments about my experiences in that thread... problem is people get out of big engined cars and dont appreciate what its all about, lack of info as usual

1.06.75 times for a stock Supra in a race from back in 1995... if you really care that much

Well said Neil - its just a my cock is bigger than your cock argument anyway - unfortunately they are appended to their owners heads.

Can't we all just go back to slating BMW drivers?

As I posted on page 2, I've been up againt a 400hp JDM 6spd, tuned by Abbey, there was nothing in it, as the owner will admit.

From a standing start, I would lose no doubt, he having posted a 13.8 to my 14.8 (wet) 1/4 mile time.

The above 'hands on' expirience, says to me, that the S would lap most tracks quicker than a TT Supra, being more agile, and on par through the gears, and no launch involved.

Sorry Pete but thats just utter bollocks.. the Stock Supra will top out at 175mph if its de-limited where the S2K will run out of steam around 150. One with 400 true bhp will be 180+

How can you explain away 1/4 mile terminal speeds of 10+mph difference from a standing start, you're not gonna be catching at all at higher speeds. As Mike said it'll only get worse.

TBH it did the trick... it stood out (both cars did, made cracking poster material) - having said that the guy who owned it before it was resprayed had it in bright yellow..!! but yeah they were riced out for the silver screen.

Not all orange Supras are bad tho One of our tuners has his painted in Lambo orange which looks sweet, a little like the S2K orange that Leggy Blonde (has/had)?) , has a nice faint metallic flip in it.
Had

It's in Gods country now!
