I used to play in the UKCCL as well, [ANM]SideshowBob then [ANM]Slacker then [NME]Slacker (only played a few games for NME though, the other HPBs were way better than me ). Used to play a mod called Jailbreak a lot and made 3 of the maps for it.

Durzel and [SR]Bob, I can remember both of those nicknames. Small world indeed!

Bobeh.

You seem to think im having a dig, im not. I get your point - you love your car. The juxtaposition between referring to the Supra as a supercar, then quoting laptimes and G figures, etc etc then likening it to a Mercedes just foxed me slightly thats all. I read your post then had a mental image of the burgundy 190E my ex-girlfriends dad used to drive, and I couldnt quite understand.

[QUOTE=Durzel,Aug 3 2005, 11:36 AM] Aside from what has already been written, it is any great surprise that the membership of <insert car forum> have rose-tinted glasses when it comes to comparing their prized marque against other "lesser" cars?

This forum and every other car forum I've ever seen has been the same.
