Glad to hear it, I was able to keep up with a brand new GT3 RS around the Wipperman section to the end of the Nordschleife, but I dont for one minute think my car handles as well as or better.

At the end of the day a good driver makes more difference around a track than the car does

I'm sure it was a rail bot.

Swinging through the air with the grapple and still nailing me from the otherside of the map. It just doesn't compute.

I've been against a standard JDM Auto in a EG6 Vti, 170 hp fully stripped, 900kg, the Supra was mariginally faster from 50 - 120+, but not enough to get past.

Thankyou please.
I've been against a tractor & plough on my carbon fibre racing bike. The tractor was slow and I passed it easily.

Thankyou please.

Small World!

I was never much cop at CTF, although I did play in Savage (can't remember for what clan though - possibly SPKs or RSC).

RA2 was more my thing, or Team DM.

I seem to recall [SR]Bob being somewhat of a legendary defender in CTF?

Maverick, why would it be weird to compare against? It comes as high spec'd, if not higher than most Mercedes and BWMs of its day. One of the reasons why I bought it.. supercar performance in terms of speed, stopping ability and handling, sub 5 sec 0-60 times, 175+mph standard, luxurious and reliable... you try sitting in an early 90's Ferrari and think, wow this is comfy and built to last! and I just love the styling.. obviously looks can be debated as thank god we all dont have the same taste, the rest cant though.

Durzel, yeah I remember you from RSC clan, I played RA2 also, was in Clan-X

I've seen ya on the R34 boards, wanna know something even freakier, I think I met a friend of yours who worked at Wilts Police in the IT Dept - he mentioned some computer games geek who liked cars

Yeah I did enjoy CTF... and the railgun in particlar,no messing about, thats what I like.

I know what you mean. A GT3 or an RS should be able to blow me away, but the Turbo is a much heavier car (and more of a touring car than some of its brethren). It may well have just been driver and I'm not rose tinted as to the capabilities of the car, but the Turbo was being pushed, even if it wasn't being pushed by a very talented driver.

Wholehearted agree with the driver point.

I suppose I was just contributing cos someone mentioned the ring and I'm still buzzing from it.

Last Wednesday Thursday and Friday. My first trip, did 9 laps in total. There's a thread kicking around entitled Chilleds tour of Europe as I was doing Europe, not just the 'ring, although the 'ring was the best bit.
