Always interested in these FI topics.
Mines an 06 DBW and am hoping advancements are made in the FI area for DBW cars like mine.
From reading I am the sort of person who would prefer a SC application, VTEC kick is enough, don't need a Turbo kick too

If you want to go the SC route it is defitinitely worth talking to Richard (Horsepower) as he supplies and fits the Rotrex kits at his place in Silverstone.
I am running 15psi and have had an issue with my head gasket but talking to Mase at the weekend who reckons he has never known a head gasket to go on a car that hasn't been apart. I will find out on Saturday if that is the case with mine.
Once it is back up and running I will be fitting the switch that Phil mentioned so my ECU can have two maps stored on it, then I can switch between 95 and 98 ron at will.
If you want to start stock piling bits prior to install have a look as some of the other mods people with FI have done as many of them can be done prior to the FI install, you are fairly close to me so if I can ever help out let me know.
And to throw a real spanner in the works, you can buy a low compression engine from the states for less than $3k that will be able to withstand some seriously high boost Phil is the man to chat about that, they will crate the engine to the UK so no need to send your car state side!!

As we are on the subject...I heard that SC/Turbo kits arent currently available for the drive by wire (04+) cars? Is this correct? I cant see how this would affect the running of a forced induction system on the cars to be fair though..even if there were an extra set of sensors etc I cant imagine it being a massive problem to overcome. Maybe mikey K could shed some light on this as according to your profile/avatar you have an 05..Also where abouts are you guys buying your SC kits from?

There is no aftermarket ECU for the +06 F20C cars.
There is for the US F22C
You might be able to make a stock FPR/ECU clamp
I know from experience having bought a new 06 only to find I couldn't do it hence my 05
New SC kits are coming from the US. MASE offers Turbo kits in the UK as TTS offer the a UK SC kit.

You will lose the VTEC kick with a SC though!
Stoat I could be tempted for the right offer
I'd look into the TTS/Rotex set up before jumping after discussing all the SC kits with MASE at the weekend.

I'm sure AEM are bringing out a new ECU soon and I'd be surosed if it didnt handle DBW, motec and DTA (beta) etc do.
