Default Sulphur smell

Hi all,

I've only owned my S2K for a three months amd imtermittently it stinks of rotten eggs! At first it only seemed to be when I used the window washers so I purged the washer system out thinking it was soured screenwash or something, and although this worked for a tiny while, I have now noticed it on occasion again. It's an 04 model with 26k on the clock and has one month of Honda warranty left but I'm not sure I want to take it before I have any idea what's wrong!

Anyone else who has suffered this problem and can advise me??

Hope to hear from you!

It's cat stink.

My first MX-5 used to do it badly on wet days. It was akin to farting in the shower.

Try changing to a different brand of petrol, hopefully with a lower sulphur content. Or go out for a good VTEC & get the cat really damned hot.

Some people say the egg smell is when the cat is starting to deteriorate.
