Over on the S2000 street encounter forum our cousins across the pond use some interesting terminology....... eg. what exactly do they mean when they say something like this:

"Did a 4th gear to 2nd gear rev match, downshift, floored it..."

Does this actually translate as "I used the throttle and clutch as designed to change down from 4th to 2nd gear in a smooth manner"?

Also what the hell is a powershift?:

"I did a powershift from 2nd to 3rd and left him in a cloud of smoke!"...... I fear this actually means that a powershift equals changing up while leaving the loud pedal pressed to the floor..... and the cloud of smoke is from the S2000s clutch!
