Strange throttle noise?

Happens at the same point on the throttle lifting off too...
Will pop the lid back on the airbox and see if it makes a difference
TBW - Left speaker doesn't like to stay on when I go over bumps!

f it is chirpy (like a high pitched ringing) then it's the clutch.
You can get your dealer to break your car in a fultile attempt to fix it or just get used to it.

I've heard the 054 clutch whining on another S which is very much down the middle of the car for longer when no foot is on the pedal and revs are coming down - this noise is entirely throttle position specific, it only happens at a very exact position, in any gear, at any speed....

Seen as its my old car maybe I can help!
Never noticed any funny "sounds" out of it when I had it, but different people hear different things. It had a Spoon snorkel on it and a K&N filter. It did "whistle" at 8.5k rpm but that was normal with the Spoon on.
It has a 55 clutch not a 54, thoug it could be "ringing" in the gearbox/clutch?

This is NOT the same as the clutch vibration on over-run below 4000rpm which is the clutch plate rattling - it doesn't matter wether you have the 054 or 055 clutch.
The fact that it happens under load at a specific speed is indicative of this issue
My S2000 does it as well...occasionally.
Nothing to worry about.
