Hello everyone i have noticed a strange noise comming from my S maybe you can help. It is not engine noise its kinda of an of on off on off shushing noise i have had the car up in the air and spun the wheels nothing. I also run the rear wheels with the engine to see if it was at speed but nothing. I also checked to see if a bearing is gone but i dont thinks so. One possability could be a warped disc it only starts doing after i have been driving for a while any idea's would be great thanks.

I have this same issue after a complete rear brake job... only at speed but it know it has to do with the pad making contact with the disk, just not sure why it is doing it.

Absolutely the same for me.
Funnily enough, I just had a brake replacement done as I couldn't get off the from wheels because the last chap tightened them beyond belief. The noise disappeared. I've now only got it slightly on the rears (which are from the old change).

So another similar noise here as well coming from the pad/disk - and without a stereo at the moment - boy you do notice the sounds - especially the hardtop! Drives me nuts.

i had a similar noise from rear brakes driver side disc on the inside had a big rust blister in the middle of the disc and only made a noise when it got hot.
