Strange intermittent noise

Default Strange intermittent noise
Does anyone elses car make this noise after you switch it off. Its a very quiet noise, lasts about 3 seconds, and sounds as if there's a foghorn in the distance.

I've had the car about 7 months and it's always done it.

Always wondered what it is, and I'm in a posting mood today.

Yes, they all do that sir, fuel priming.
