Default strange howling at motorway speeds

Hi all strange noise making an appearance! I first noticed it on the way bqck from Germany. Cruising aling the motorway at steady motorway speed, all of a sudden a howling noise starts? I slowed down and it disappeared so after a few minutes thinking about it I thought no more of it. Until today it came back. Driving along at 65mph the howling comes back? The noise stays the same volume regardless of speed and there is no build up of sound, its just on or off. Any ideas what it could be? Has anyone had it before?

Lmao haven't hit anything yet touch wood! I forgot to mention the noise to me sounds like it comes from just in front of the dashboard around about the centre. Could it be transmission related?

It might be that wind comes inbetween the front of the roof and top of the windshield at speed. Try pulling it down by the handle when the sound comes back up.

Would have thought that would be a whine or a droning noise. Is in mine anyway.
