Recently I thought I saw these lights too, dismissed as a trick of the mind, perhaps there is something there ?!?

It could be that there's a hole for an extra dash illumination bulb holder behind there.

You're getting a slight light bleed through to the front.

Or else, it's the cursor from which you shoot down the lights above!
