Have been reading the odd topic on Petrol and/or Fuel injector cleaners and was wondering if they are actually any good at cleaning fuel lines/injectors/etc/etc ?
No problems with my car, that I know of, but always happy to use anything that keeps it well maintained; so interested in members thoughts/comments.
Thanks,

I had some good results with some BG44k following a dyno day at Janspeed. Made 195 wbhp - less than most of the other stock cars on the day. Car was new to me and had been owned by a mature lady before. I Don't think it had ever seen more than 5k rpm. Took a couple of plugs out and had a look down with a torch, lots of carbon. Stuck some BG44K in (kwik fit special) and thrashed it around for a week. Was back on the same dyno a month later and made 202 bhp. Can't say whether it was the additive or me giving it an Italian tune up, or even just a crap 1st dyno pull - I did have a flat spot around 2.5 - 3k which seemed to sort itself too.
Swapped out the plugs a couple of weeks ago and piston tops looked quite clean with some shiny spots.
It's £20, so quite a bit more than Redex etc but I'll probably give it another try at next service time.
