Default Stop Flashing Me

Why is it...

Since the first night I drove My S I've been getting flashed by other motorists. Not usually any quick flashes they give me a long hard retina burning full beam salvo.

My lights are fine, clean and not aimed high.

When they do this I show them what full beam really is...

How do you know they are aiming correctly?

I've just adjusted mine upwards (and I can literally see them pointing up) and I've only been flashed once, which I was suprised about.

It could also be that you're not used to being right in the line of other peoples dipped beams I remember thinking everyone was giving me full beams until it turned out that I was just much lower down .

Drive with shades on all the time at night - that'll fix it.

I'll probably get 2 or 3 flashers on an hour long drive on some of the Surrey roads. not many when I'm in well lit areas.

I can see the extra lights come on with some of the cars...

Mine seem entirely normal and when on the road seem to be aimed quite low.

Deja vu!

I had some truck flash me "Jean Michel Jarre" style. ( He had about 20 super troopers attached to his truck...all drected to me. )

My retinas still hurt.

Was thinking about buying night vision goggles and driving without the lights.... that'll show 'em.

That'll be your problem then.

No flashers north of the border then?

I get this in the Scoob too - I can only thing people see the lights bumping around and assume I'm flashing them or are on mainbeam? Same in the S perhaps?

I had a guy at work the other day moaning my lights were melting the paint off his bonnet

I laughed, showed him main beam and then drove off .... I don't think he was impressed
