Stone/Grit Trap
While washing the dirt off from SM4 I felt the sponge catch on something while washing the rear bumper were it meets the black plastic trim with the rear fog light.
On further inspection I could feel and see grit stuck between the two parts. I gently pulled the bumper towards me with my finger tips and a whole host of grit dropped out.
Car is now several grams lighter, anyone else seen this before?

There was a thread on this very recently. I had the same thing when you closed the boot you could hear the grit vibrate. I used a jet wash to get mine out and always make sure that I do it everytime I go to the local optimax outlet/valeters now. The rear wheel arches are open and this seems to be root cause of the problem.
