Default stone chip repair costs

got normal wear&tear stone chips on the front of my S, off the top of my head:

- 3 back-to-metal chips
- couple that have just chipped the laquer
- scratch across top of bonnet from opening it with wipers up
- what looks a weird circular 'crop circle' chip. touch bigger diameter than your thumb.
- and an unfortunate incident with a raised edging stone (that rounded concrete edge that they use down the side of paths/driveways) thats just scraped the very front lower bottom of the bumper.

are we looking

One concern I have with onsite repairs is the paint are specially formulated to for quick dry so it can loose its sheen over time. From what you have described I would be tempted to get the bodyshop to get the front blown over, which should cost around

I have just suffered 4 consequtive evenings of fresh egg attack (haven't caught the bastards yet) about 4 eggs each time thrown at each of my cars. A number of them have resulted in, as you say, crop circles of chipped laquer. On the S, I have only found them on the bonnet. I'm not doing anything other than cleaning the mess up each day until it's stopped. Its bloody annoying.

well its free and worth a go ! ive got all the propper pc / pads / polishing stuf and im normally quite supprised how good a job it does ! im also about to start on the 100+ stone chips on my 5year old black car.. then wet and dry sand them and buff them back ! if you can get us a photo and we can take a look , if the plastic bumper has been scrached though to the plastic then there is not a lot we can do other than ' bodge ' but gentle scraches marks in the paint etc i can easily get out, im just up by the A41
