I have had my tips off several times. Just one bolt. From memory 10mm AF hex head, a simple flat ring is all you need, or a socket. Only need to undo it a few turns as it acts as a clamp to hold the tail pipe on rather than bolting it into a captive nut. Then the pipes just pull off.

10mm AF hex it is.

Couldn't get them off though. Solid.

PlusGas penetrating oil - or failing that WD40. Let it soak overnight..

So you can have the '04 tips on a pre '04 then??

I wanted these you see, but I was told by Honda that they would not fit!!!

Is Honda the only place to get these from?

The WD40 did the trick, but one of the bolts broke when I was putting them back on!

I am sure this has been done - just the tips and without changing the rear lower panel. Pete and Ren maybe?
