with GSi

Do one of two things assuming you have not parted with any money

1) Get a written commitment they will sort it free of charge in your purchase price - if you want the hassle at the price agreed.

2) Go elsewhere and find one with out the problem! (I would do this!)

This sounds like a private buy, have you HPI'd it Where are is it based I'm sure one of local could check it over for you!

Being cheeky - what sort of money have you agreed on this car?

TBH I think G-Man is beyond our help.

He asks for our advice but seems to ignore it. That's his choice, but he can't blame us when he ends up buying a shed.

Who here would buy a private 4 year old car without a proper mechanical check?

I did.
That said, I also drove one with a very heavy clutch pedal, and left that one well alone.

OK you lot calm yourselfs. (sorry for the delay, I was away)

Basically this has to be the best car I have seen so far.

The car has a good history, fully stamped with receipts.
Yes Mikey, it is a private buy, but I assure you that I drove a 01 from a honda garage, which was much worse (felt like it had been abused)
The Alloys, bodywork, hood etc was immaculate. The only thing was the clutch which he has said will investigate and fix if needed

If he doesn't he loses a sale, or I offer less

The HPI has come back clean, so its sounding good, just need to wait on what needs doing to the clutch from the seller.

The car is
