Stereo/speaker upgrades
Right, getting closer to upgrading the stereo
Is it the stereo that is lacking or the speakers? Would an Alpine head unit make all the difference with the std speakers? Would a pre-amp thingy with the current head unit be the cheapest option to make the thing louder?
Are the rear speakers worth it? Can you really appreciate them when their jammed hidden behind your back? (I'm tall and have the seat all the way back)

With the std stereo?
where can I get these locally? or do I have to buy them in from the US (seen the luicd website). There seem to be a number of speaker packages (& varying $$$), which is the one to go for? Is it easy to fit or should I get Honda or specialist to do the job?

I upgraded the door speakers (a must), then went for the rear speakers (a good move), then fitted a tiny 4x55w Sony amp behind the head unit, which really topped it off - and now all is great (with the caveat that I don't see the point in trying toi acieve concert ahll sound in a 9,000 rpm roadster!)
