The amp is pretty compact and is small enough to fit in a footwell under the dash..thats where most people have put them anyway. It also plugs straight into the HU where the DCI plugs into the other end of the amp.
i never realised 1.5 days though!? damnit...

That amp can hide on the passenger side, where a normal glovebox would be, so that simplifies it.
It's easily do-able in a day if Pedro helps out with stuff like the sound deadening - that's the easiest job to do.
Moving to general as more folk will see it there

You could do this in a day....but it would be a long day.
I've just deadened the doors - 2.5 hours each for a good job (on a cold day when you need to heat the door and material to get a good bond).
You'll need to make or buy some MDF rings as your speakers won't fit in the stock adapters - 1.5 hours.
Fitting speakers and wiring + mounting the crossovers is probably 1.5 hours for both doors.
Fitting the stereo and amp - you're probably looking at 1.5 to 2 hours again as you'll need to remove and refit all the centre console for the ipod cable. If it's just the powerpack amp then this will fit behind the passenger dash panel.
Add another hour to setup and play with the sound.
My local stereo place wanted 2 days to do a quality install @ £175 per day - this was assuming they were supplying the kit too so probably would have been £200 a day otherwise. Kind of wish I had got them to do it after cutting my hands to pieces with silent coat!

unclefester did my doors in no time at all. He and PaulF installed all of the above, including an amp under the seat in a day, with me assisting passing them screwdrivers etc.
Put the ipod in the passenger cargo net.
Get spacer rings from Ebay.
Definitely do it on a warm day though, stops all the clips from snapping (unclefester's sage advice again).

My opinion:
Doors - 1 hr each
Fitting speakers - 30 mins each
Wiring - 1 hr 30 mins
Stereo/Amp - 1 hr 30 mins
I found the biggest problem was routing the speaker wires through to the doors.

I had no idea how much time would have gone into all this.
MDF spacers. I will get those now. i have 6.5" speakers so im guessing that i will need the same sized spacers.

Just though I would point out that this was the inner and outer skin and door almost completely stripped to cover almost every inch of metal!
