I recently fitted the Apline 114BTi http://www.alpine-electronics.co.uk/produc...cde-114bti.html and i am very happy with it.
I got the Autoleads connector for the dash controls but it will not work. The mute button does force a click from the solenoid but no controls work so i am going for the Modifry.

silverinho,
Do you mean it didn't work at all? Did you also get the PC99-ALP Alpine Multi Stalk Adaptor Patch Lead with your the Autoleads connector? Its easily missed out if the seller doesn't highlight it.

I checked my adaptor today and took a few pics which may help you. It's an Incartec 29-629 Control Box with an Alpine Patch cable 29-001. For more info have a look at THIS
This is the control box
And this is the label on the harness from the control box
You'll also need an aerial adaptor like this one

Wobbly,
Thanks for taking the trouble to check. Perhaps it will help others who are looking for an adapter, the Autoleads is the same price as the In CarTech but doesn't work with the mute function. I can't be bothered ripping it all out again just for the mute
Good video on removing the door by the way!

I've got the Pioneer unit in my signature and wouldn't use anything else. Got it from Car Audio direct who are a good bunch of lads and also bought an Autoleads connector at te same time and it works fab. The unit is BT compatible, full iPod/iPhone connectivity, CD player, external mic for the phone, and sounds awsome with the stock speakers. It will also connect to any BT audio source if you have a dfferent kind of MP3 player. I may upgrade to an amp and Focal speakers later on this summer.
And yes, I can use the phone with the hood down while making significant progress on the motorway.
I went with the Pioneer unit to be different, as just about everyone has a piece of Alpine kit.

After speaking to a guy at Autoleads he told me that sometimes they don't work with an S2000.
"So I've wasted my money buying this then?"
"To be honest, yes"

Just to add I've tested the handsfree on the Alpine up to 60 mph with the windows and hood down with no problems.
