Cars are exposed to the substances whilst driven, not when parked, so garage or no garage isn't an issue.

Conducting preventative maintenance is absolutely the best thing to be doing, to prevent the onset of rust.

just to update the thread,

Had my S in with Richard @ chassis clean over Christmas - underside was perfect when I picked it up, kicking myself I didn't get a picture. But feeling good about the experience and a job well done. side skirts have been off and cavities sprayed.

£440 plus 15 quid for pickup & dropoff at Altrincham (about 10 mins each way for him). Altrincham is the end of the metrolink, and an hourly train into Manchester/Chester

Sorted bloke - well recommended.

They take 2 - 2.5 days to do the job the S being a small car, mine went in on the 20th - and I picked it up on the 28th - It was easier for all concerned rather than running around Xmas eve....
