Standard silencer
At the rear of the standard rear box there is an external pipe that exits and then enters the box again.
It looks like it feeds the exhaust gasses through the box twice effectively doubling the length of the baffles.
Would squeezing the pipe shut with some mole grips block the exhaust
or force most of the gasses and sound to exit more directly?
It would be interesting if the next time someone changes their standard exhaust they could try squeezing the pipe shut just to see what effect it has on the sound and performance
